Born out of something deeply personal.
Wag & Wander was born out of something deeply personal. After recovering from a serious illness, I needed to rebuild — physically, emotionally, and mentally. I turned to dog walking not just as work, but as part of my healing.
The routine, the fresh air, the responsibility of caring for another living being — it brought me back to myself. While the dogs brought me back to life.
I grew up with dogs. My childhood dog was my best friend, and that bond never left me. When I moved to Hoboken and found myself in a new city without one, dog walking filled that gap in a way I didn’t expect. It brought community back into my life. And, it gave me purpose.
I hold a Master’s in Integrative Medicine and spend my time away from dogs researching the doctor-patient relationship with hopes of improving timely diagnoses. When I’m with your dog, that same attention and presence I bring to my research gets directed entirely toward them. During sits, your dog has my company for the majority of the day.
I’m also a yoga practitioner, handstand enthusiast, and hiker — so your dog is in very good hands on those longer walks.
How we show up for your dog
Hoboken’s dog care community is better together
Wag & Wander was built on the belief that Hoboken’s dog walkers and pet care providers are better together than in competition. The dogs of this city deserve a village looking out for them — and that’s the spirit we bring to everything we do.
Whether it’s a referral to a trusted trainer, a heads-up about a hazard on the walking route, or simply showing up reliably for your dog every week — we’re invested in this community for the long haul.
Let’s take care of your dog.
Every new client starts with a free meet and greet. Come say hello — we’d love to meet your pup.
